The clear plastic dial is not scratched or cloudy. All set and change station locations these pull out rotate to for AM or FM stations. There is no rust on the case.

Dial light works. Slide bar toggles freely between AM and FM band location. Finding a real deal original 1966 Mercury AM FM radio today is quite task. Overall condition is nice, clean and all original.

I recently bench tested it and determined to be non-functional so is being sold as a core radio for repair. Not very many were made due to the high cost of option and limited amount FM stations in non urban areas. It will fit a Monterey, Montcalm, Park Lane or S-55 model. This is the correct one that would have come from factory see part number.

AM FM radios were quite rare options in the 1960s and early 1970's, especially on less expensive cars.

Color of the dial numbers and pointer is sharp. The preset buttons work. The power and speaker pigtails are clean uncut. It also has the rear mounting bracket.

It comes complete with a set of original inner and outer control knobs as well the shaft mounting nuts lock washers. The Formic part number on the side is F6TBM. Its cosmetic appearance is excellent and would be suitable for a show car. This is a relatively rare radio not seen for sale very often.
