AM FM radios were quite rare options in the 1960s and early 1970's, especially on less expensive cars like Thunderbird. Slide bar toggles freely between AM and FM band location. Dial light works. The tuner slides smoothly across the dial with no slipping.

All set and change station locations these pull out rotate to for AM or FM stations. It also has the rear mounting bracket. I recently bench tested it undetermined to be non-functional. To clear up any confusion many Ford AM FM radios from the mid 60s thru late 70s will fit opening of your 1967 Thunderbird however this is correct one that would have come factory see part number.

Overall condition is nice, clean and all original. The optional rear speaker fade switch, which mounts on the RH shaft, is also included. The preset buttons work. The Formic part number on the side is F7TBS.

The power and speaker pigtails are clean uncut. The chrome push buttons and slide bar have some pitting which is common for older pot metal parts. There is no rust on the case. Color of the dial numbers and pointer is sharp.

This is a relatively rare radio not seen for sale very often. Not very many were made due to the high cost of option and limited amount FM stations in non urban areas. Most of the radios that were produced tossed out years ago or are already installed in cars. The clear plastic dial is not scratched or cloudy.
