The id tag for 6v units was red. This regulator was not original to a vintage Indian motorcycle, but can be used when the original 6v auto lite three brush unit is converted to a 12v auto lite three brush unit. The unit has not been tested but there is no evidence of previous problems.

Plating on base is discolored.

12v field coils are available from various vendors. The unit is used based on screw marks on the mounting flanges. Shipping will usually be through us.

The box is included buy I can't be sure it is the original box for this particular unit. The id tag is green indicating 12v.

I personally don't have any to sell.

There are some wrench marks on the cover fastener.

This is an auto lite 12v two charge regulator tc 4310. At minimum the field coils have to converted from 6v to 12v.
