The newer Hollander adds the trucks to 55 m, r, E5, 10, 15. I was told the weasels were 12 volt. I am not a Studebaker expert. I have been running this basic unit mz Autolite on my jeep for 20 years and it works fine.
It runs out great on the tester. The Hollander says this fits the champion from 41 to 46 and the trucks from 41 to 49 m r.
You do need to be more careful to not crank too long. The brushes looked almost new. I took this all apart, tested everything cleaned and repainted, the armature has been growled and the commutator sanded, didn't need turning I lubed all the bushings and took the Bendix apart, lubed it and reassembled.
