The rods are casting number C3AE reconditioned with new 3/8 APR rod bolts w nuts the bolts have the oval football shaped head , they are dished with 4 valve reliefs. There a few small minor scratches on the piston skirts from being in the box, these scratches will not affect the performance. The rods have been shot preened and balanced and have polished side beams.

The rods are 289k hipo rods with nos forged seal power pistons part number L2411P. The rods have been reconditioned, and the pistons are new never installed or run. The pistons are size. These rods have been used in 289k motors and on some boss 302 applications.

This offer is for a set of rare 289k rods with new forged pistons that have been stored for 15 years these pistons are now obsolete these pistons are close to the l2305f.
