Pros of Buying Fiberfab GT-12 Kit Car:1. Customization: Kit cars like the Fiberfab GT-12 offer a high degree of customization, allowing you to build a car that meets your specific needs and preferences.
2. Cost-Effective: Compared to buying a fully-built car, kit cars can be more cost-effective. You can save money by doing some or all of the assembly yourself, and you can choose less expensive parts and features.
3. Satisfaction of Building: For many car enthusiasts, the satisfaction of building a car from scratch is a major draw. This can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience.
4. Unique Car: A kit car like the Fiberfab GT-12 is likely to be a unique car, as there will be fewer of them on the road. This can make your car stand out from the crowd.
Cons of Buying Fiberfab GT-12 Kit Car:1. Time-Consuming: Building a kit car can be a time-consuming process, especially if you are new to car building. It can take many hours or even weeks or months to complete the project.
2. Skill Required: Building a kit car requires a certain level of skill and expertise. If you don't have experience in car building, you may need to invest time and money in learning the necessary skills.
3. Risk of Cost Overruns: While building a kit car can be cost-effective, there is also a risk of cost overruns. If you underestimate the time and materials required, or if you make mistakes during the assembly process, the cost of the project can quickly increase.
4. Resale Value: Kit cars may not have as high of a resale value as fully-built cars. This is because they may not be as reliable or as well-maintained as fully-built cars, and they may not be as desirable to potential buyers.
Conclusion:The Fiberfab GT-12 kit car offers a high degree of customization and the satisfaction of building a car from scratch, but it also requires a significant investment of time and skill. If you are a car enthusiast with experience in car building and a willingness to invest the time and effort required, a kit car like the Fiberfab GT-12 can be a rewarding and cost-effective option. However, if you are not confident in your ability to build a car or if you are looking for a more reliable and resaleable vehicle, a fully-built car may be a better choice.
Recommendation:If you are considering buying a Fiberfab GT-12 kit car, I would recommend doing your research and carefully considering the pros and cons. Consider your level of experience and skill in car building, as well as your budget and your desired use for the car. If you are confident that you can handle the project and are willing to invest the time and effort required, a kit car like the Fiberfab GT-12 can be a fun and rewarding option. However, if you are not confident in your ability to build a car or if you are looking for a more reliable and resaleable vehicle, I would recommend considering a fully-built car instead.
Nothing is broken and it was all functional when I got it. I reserve the rite to end this offer at any time for any reason, I have this for sale locally as well. This kit is sold as is where is with no warranty or guarantee.
The body is setting on a super beetle chassis and it will need new floor pans, otherwise the chassis is in good condo. No engine is included and I have no paperwork on any of it.
I can deliver within reason for a fee and I will gladly help load this on your trailer. The body itself is in good to fair condo, all the fiberglass is still intact and has never been repaired to my knowledge, there are the usual wear marks around the door areas and under the front and rear hoods where the hinges are. I have the rear glass and one side window glass, the other side window was replaced with plexus at some point and the windshield is missing, basically what you see is what you get, the rims are aftermarket 15 wagon wheels that are sandblasted and ready for paint.
