The pegs were made longer in 1969 when they made the wheels wider from 15x7 to 15x8.

Most of the plating is long gone. P/N 3929208correct for 1968 corvettes bolt holds up the front of the spare tire carrier.

The head mark will clean up nicely. The bolt has some wear and surface rust on it.

This is a good hard to find spare tire carrier bolt for your Corvette, please look at the pictures.

It measures approximately 6 inches, which is about half an inch shorter than the other pegs found in other Corvettes.
