This is a new old stock 1987 Mustang 5. Ford F1ZZ-6250-a it was bought new in 1997 on a shelf since then. It should fit other years but was bought for a speed density fuel injected Mustangs ideally need the exact cam Ford made because they run off of map.

It has never been dropped or damaged in anyway. We probably have all heard a Mustang with an annoying rolling idle. In some cases even the slightest cam changes can cause 86 to 88 Mustangs not run correctly. 1989 and up Mustangs with mass air fuel injection can obviously handle just about any modification.

Yes, you can convict 86 to 88 Mustangs mass air but if want a stock looking car can't. They can't measure the air entering in to engine.
