This trough runs from your heater motor outlet for defrost out to the cowl area and serves two purposes it takes the moisture from the interior and drains all the water from the cowl area into a hose that runs down to a duckbill drain. Plus, it looks great.
This is the first reproduction of this part and it is a beauty. That's why it's important to have a good sealed drain trough. Lack of drain in the cowl leads to the inevitable rust.
