The DB4 is a beautiful example of British automotive design, with its long hood, short rear deck, and sleek, aerodynamic lines. The car's body is crafted from hand-beaten aluminum panels, giving it a unique and distinctive appearance. The interior is equally impressive, with luxurious leather upholstery, wood veneers, and a wealth of features designed to provide comfort and convenience for both driver and passengers.
Under the hood, the DB4 is powered by a 3.7-liter inline-six engine, producing up to 240 horsepower. This engine, coupled with a four-speed manual gearbox, provides smooth and responsive performance, making the DB4 a joy to drive both on winding country roads and on long-distance journeys.
The DB4GT Martini, introduced in 1964, was a more performance-oriented version of the DB4. It featured a more powerful engine, producing up to 325 horsepower, and a host of aerodynamic modifications to improve handling and top speed. The car was also fitted with a more aggressive front grille and side vents, giving it a more aggressive and sporting appearance.
The DB4GT Martini was also famous for its association with the Martini Racing team, who used the car in numerous motorsport events in the 1960s. The car's distinctive livery of white with green and red stripes became synonymous with Aston Martin and is still celebrated today.
Both the DB4 and DB4GT Martini are highly sought-after collectors' items, with examples in excellent condition commanding high prices at auction. Has original paint patina, works fine, in very good solid condition. Same jack is used for the DB4gt model's. Up for sale is an original jack that came out of my 1959 aston martin DB4 that I sold back in the 1980.
I saw this particular aston martin jack sold at a Bentham's offer a couple of years ago for this price. Feel free to ask any detailed questions. Missing Bakelite knob on handle, I think the older jag sedans use a similar knob.
