To clear up any confusion many Ford AM FM radios from the mid 60s thru late 70s will fit opening of your 1972 Mustang but this is correct one that would have come factory see part number. It comes complete with a set of inner and outer control knobs as well the shaft mounting nuts lock washers. Overall condition is exceptionally nice, clean and all original.

Dial light works. Slide bar toggles freely between AM and FM band location. The power and speaker pigtails are clean uncut.

The Formic part number on the side is D2ZA-19A241 2FBZ. The clear plastic dial is not scratched, cracked or cloudy. The tuner slides smoothly across the dial with no slipping.

Color of the dial numbers and pointer is sharp. All set and change station locations nicely. Its physical appearance is suitable for a show car. The preset buttons work.

There is no rust on the case.
