This did not come off a container ship from china, I patterned a full model from scratch rather than go off an existing Amg part it does not fit the us bumpers. 4 gaps under the sides of the bumper are gone mine fits exactly.
Hi I have a new version of the euro benz ground effects airdam for W123 cars, this is designed to work with the 3 piece wrap around front euro bumper and its trim.
The first arctic blast came thru last niter so perhaps next week it will have let up, perhaps not. There are return edge flaps sealing off the back at either side to keep mud and debris from getting slung up inside from the tires.
I am working on side skirts now and will have those available soon, this offer and price is for the front faring, not a complete kit. Greetings the clock is ticking on this piece after the weather cools I dont try making them, composite molding parts dose not work well under 80 degrees ,and risks ruing expensive materials as well as messing up the tooling. 5 mos of my quality time went into the model , made the tooling and made this part, due to its shape the compound curved sides are extremely difficult to pull off working from the inside.
Some details that I changed on the pattern differing from the similar Amg part are. The rear close out flaps are now removable separate insert pieces not pictured, I had to change the design to make the pieces easier to fabricate my blocked list has lots more room.
