I guess by wolf they mean us old guys that drive around in hot rods and whistle at pretty ladies. Requires simple mechanical activation with a cable or wire. I've only managed to get my hands on a few dozen of these so supplies are semi limited.

It doesn't sound so much like a real wolf howling, it really sounds more like a guy whistling at a girl. I couple of tugs on this whistle and it sounds like you just gave the hey pretty lady whistle only really loud.

This is an older all steel unit that has been completely blasted, powder coated, had it's old springs replaced and it's whistle drum cleaned and restored.

This works on either air pressure or with a vacuum like in your intake manifold, so it can be installed very simply. Works for me.
