No known history. Up for sale is one of the most unusual pre 1910 automobile auto pieces I have ever seen. No one else will have a early race car that looks like this. The top half pivots open and closes ,but the 2 brass bolts are missing on either side, that bolt the top half to the brass windshield frame.

I was going to put it as the windshield on a 1904 Brennan racer racing car I was going to build. The wood windshield is 13 inches high. Free Hershey delivery if paid for by Oct. Lower 48 USA shipping is 1st.

This is a sinister looking port hole piece, that looks like it should be on the villains car in the movies the great race or chatty bang. Diameter of the 2 glass portholes is 10 inches each. Old burgundy paint and glass, held in with clips on the back side. This would be amazing on your 1900,1901,1902,1903,1904,1905,1906,1907,1908,1909,1910 vintage old antique race car.

However that project is sold, so I have decided to sell the windshield. Overall width of the assembly is 34 inches. Incredible home made piece.
