They are the same radio model number but face with fronts on them were different.On this it says Volvo right in. This might fit some VW radios form the 50s. 1957 58 Volvo Radio Here is a radio. This might fit other years I know model's 5M 6M 7M look the same.

This is a Motorola 8M radio. We replaced wax capacitors and electrolytic. Now it plays rather nice.
