The pictures show the actual auxiliary cooling fan in this offer. Picture six shows the same cooling fan circled in red before I removed it from the 1986 XJ6 and is for orientation purposes so you know where it is located.

If you are having problems high coolant temperatures in your series iii XJ6 it is possible that your cooling fan has gone bad.

This cooling fan is located at the front of the car in front of the radiator and comes on when the coolant temperatures rises.
