Details:

Hood skin up for offer is a super rare new old stock. That new or used avanti hood may not fit the opening you are installing it on. All avanti used this same new old stock skin. As it was just easier to fix an existing damaged hood than install a new.

If you had a car that didn need any paint work except the hood, finish product was hood uneven gaps, and wan flush fitting, which left lot to be desired.

O the replacement hood skin, with correct installation, allowed for a perfect fitting. Shipping charges quoted, are for us.

Hood skin part was installed on all studebaker avanti and hoods that were bonded together by avanti motors. The hood gap all way around, as well being flush to cowl panel, fender closeout side panels and nose panel were difficult obtain. I have parts for 1963 avanti, 1964 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 1976 1977 1978 1979 1980 1981 1982 1983 1984 1985 and some 1987 up avanti. I stated super rare because studebaker and avanti never sold a hood skin.

We mostly installed them on cars that had an engine compartment fire, butchered up hoods or inner structure broken area with a damaged hood skin.
